- Based on Sony and Toshiba CCD sensors designed for monochromatic visible use - Glass windows are removed - Sensors need to be coasted with a conversion material that absorbs incoming UV and emits visible wavelengths - Coating is a new adaptation of the traditional Lumogen fluorescent dye - Approximately 15% QE below 400 nm to the cutoff at about 150 nm.
