The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh
About the SSP The Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP), along with our sister society, the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP), is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering science education in the Western Pennsylvania region. To that end, with proceeds from Pittcon, we support member education programs, teacher and student awards, a wide variety of educational programs, and grant programs for high schools, colleges, and beginning university professors.
