Proton™ consistently achieves Telcordia compliant, singlemode UPC and APC finishes in a handheld and battery operated package. Proton™ incorporates the same Independent Suspension (IS) and optically aligned workholder design found in Krell’s Scepter™ Mass Production Polishing Systems. It is ideal for repairing damaged connectors. Rather than bringing the connector to the polisher, Proton™ can ergonomically be positioned at the connector location for processing. Its design lends itself for accessing connectors and termini in difficult to reach locations such as patch panels, ONUs and wire closets.
