A positioning mechanism sets DART™ apart from traditional bare fiber adapters. Fiber advancement and retraction can be continuously adjusted in reference to DART’s universal interface. This feature can be used to control fiber protrusion during polishing, induce attenuation, and enhance photonic testing capabilities. DART engages with all polishers, test equipment and other optical components.
