MH GoPower has introduced the world's first power over fiber (PoF) enabled (PD)temperature and humidity monitoring system for medium voltage switchgear environments: the POF-WL240 smart monitoring system. The system measures bus bar temperature and humidity, and other factors which contribute to insulation failure thus resulting in damaging arc flashes in medium voltage switchgear. Key capabilities include continuous monitoring of bus bar temperature and humidity, accurate sensor readings, and no sensor range or alignment limitations.
