Multi-channel fiber optic source for calibration of optical detectors

The light from the laser source is uniformly distributed into a 196 fiber bundle (matrix 14x14 fibers), which then leads to calibrated detectors, the external modulation allows the generation of light from short pulses (ns) to continuous operation. The power in the individual optical fibers is a tenth of a microwatt (originally designed for synchronous calibration of the detectors block for Cherenkov’s radiation detection).
