Beam Shaping Unit BSU is developed to operate in combination with customer’s scanning optics, but can also be offered as a complete system. Using this device the amount of energy required to induce modifications on proccesing material is inevitably reduced and proccess is optimized for maximum performance. It is based on refractive field mapping beam shaper πShaper. Output of the πShaper is imaged onto a workpiece by imaging optical system composed from an internal collimator and external lens, for example F-theta lens of the customer’s equipment. Beam Shaping Unit BSU is available in two configurations – BSU-6000 and BSU-8000.
