Lunam™ T-40i condenses ten years of expertise in force sensing technology and includes the latest developments. The key of Impetux technology is that it enables the measurement of optical force as a derived magnitude of the direction of propagation of the trapping beam, which provides a direct route to the force in complex environments like inside living cells and tissues. After accurate calibration at the factory, no restrictions are imposed on the sample. Nonetheless, for a complete solution, Lunam™ T-40i additionally integrates a traditional calibration mode, to obtain trap stiffness and position measurements with nanometer precision.
