LC internal shutter adapter series The IS Type Duplex/Quad Adapters feature snug-fit metal spring latches and internal shutters to minimize eye exposure to lasers while providing continuous protection from dust and contaminants. The internal shutter automatically opens as the connector is being inserted, and closes as it is extracted.
