High Definition Infrared Continuous Zoom Lenses Designed for Reduced SWaP

New England Optical Systems, Inc.

NEOS has been designing and fielding zoom lenses for high definition infrared cameras used in gimbal and turreted systems. These lens assemblies are designed for harsh environments while maintaining tight boresight stability. The NEOS zoom lenses offer many operational features which are not found elsewhere. These include: - Thermal compensation based on actual EFL - Object range compensation as function of EFL - Multiple “tracking” axis subordinate to FOV - Multiple temperature sensors to determine gradient - ID module with lens-specific information - Firmware upgradeable via serial port - Built-in-Test capability - Programmable digital I/O port - User-defined command aliases that include substitution parameters - System expandability via CAN bus
